Carlisle Football Team to raise money next week and help fund their summer 2012 football tournament in Blackpool. Carlisle City U12s will be bag packing at a local Morrisons store to reduce the cost of their travelling, hotel etc.

The young Carlisle football team have entered the competition every year for several years now and always manage to do the city of Carlisle very proud. This summer coming they are hoping to go all the way and win the competition!

They have done bag packing in the past  and it’s alwasy nice to see the kids using their own time to help with costs and raise money like this. It will take place during the Christmas holidays and in a time when young kids can get bad press, these young lads are proving them wrong.

Morrisons have always been very helpful and supportive of the bag packing as well as the customers who tend to be very generous with the lads. There is a great community spirit that goes on in the store between the kids, the customers and even the parents who are helping out. Carlisle City are sure customers will be grateful of the help given by the boys while they are doing their last minute Christmas shopping.

Carlisle City are also trying to raise funding for the football club as a whole by offering advertising around one of their pitches. They are selling panels around the pitch on a 12 month contract at great rates to give local companies the opportunity of promoting their business during each game. For more information regarding advertising, contact NetConneXions who are selling and designing the boards.

Carlisle City U12s are sponsored by TeleConneXions and only last year one staff member of TeleConneXions successfully completed a charity event to raise money and buy a bus for the football club.

Everyone here at ConneXions Group wishes the best to the young team and hopes they can raise the money needed for their football competition next summer – and go on and win it!
